Under the coordination of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Camp Management Toolkit has been developed by the Camp Management Project which consisted of six member organisations – the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). 

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) logistics team leader Robert Onus recently returned from seven months in Iraq, working as part of an MSF team providing humanitarian and medical aid to refugees, internally displaced people, and local inhabitants near Dohuk. From securing supplies and managing logistics to rehabilitating health centers, here he describes his experience.

Rohini Swaminathan grew up in a small forest in South India “the kind, you know with monkeys,” and now she works on the cutting edge of humanitarian satellite delivery. Once witness as a girl to the devastation of the 2004 tsunami, today she is a Geomatician working to bring faster, more efficient, more informed humanitarian action and disaster risk reduction.
